The scholarship makes it possible for Indian students studying in the USA, for their undergraduate courses.
Scholarship Eligibility – The candidates who applying for the scholarship must be Indian citizens who have got admission to MBBS in USA and require financial assistance based on need.
Expenses Covered – The Tata education and development trust covers the tuition fee for undergraduate programs of up to final semester. For programs that exceed that duration (such as MBBS or MD), the international student must bear the additional cost. The expenses like food, living expenses, medical, and travel expenses are also covered by the assistance.
Areas of Study – The students accepted at the faculty of MBBS or MD, faculty of architecture and planning, the faculty of engineering, the specialization in applied economics and administration at the faculty of agriculture and life sciences, and the specializations in biological sciences, physical sciences, as biology, physics, chemistry, etc.

Fulbright Nehru Fellowships for Postgraduate
The United States India Educational Foundation (USIEF) offers these scholarships to Indian students who wish to pursue a master’s or research course at any universities in the USA.
Scholarship Eligibility – The students should have completed the equivalent American degree (4 years of education), and should have at least 3 years of work experience in the area in which they wish to study. The leadership and community service, communication skills and motivation to continue studying and contributing to the construction of the nation are some of the areas in which candidates are evaluated and, therefore, should be highlighted in the application.
Expenses Covered – The scholarship covers tuition fees, airfare (economy), textbooks, and living stipend.
Areas of Study – The scholarship gives preference to candidates who wish to study in the areas of arts and culture, environmental sciences, international legal studies, public health, gender studies, urban and regional planning, and public administration.
Application Time – The application time for these scholarships is June prior to the year of the start of the program. Applications for the year 2020 – 2021 were opened in June and will continue until July. The final selection will be announced in March 2020.
